Limitations on Facebook Status

Although the status update is one of the most popular facilities in the social networking site Facebook, but Mark Zuckerberg and his friends have limited the number of characters that can be entered when the user will update its status.

Although a maximum of only 420 character status updates, but this amount is still far more than just Twitter that limit the amount of just 140 characters.


Notification length change was confirmed by Facebook status yesterday, who preached that the information on the social networking application developers on it.

Since Facebook has not managed to overcome the problem, any status update that includes an attachment will be published as regular news and were not included as an update on the status of the user profile.

As quoted from AllFacebook, although only 420 characters of this restriction has been going on since some time ago, but this time Facebook announced new restrictions on the public.

Users alone are expected much of this restriction has not been realized when applied, how these limits are determined and why the number limit is 420 characters.
