Life Without the Right Brain

She was only nine years old. In such a small age, Cameron Mott had to lose half his brain organs in a radical operation. He must give up his right brain because he suffered Rasmussen's syndrome.

Rasmussen's syndrome seen since Cameron berusi three years. This rare disease spread and kill her right brain function. As a result, seizures and severe epileptic symptoms decorate these days this little girl.


"Very scary, because as a parent you will never know what will happen to your child after a dramatic brain surgery," said his mother, Shelly Mott, as quoted from page Mailonline.

The approval of the family, Cameron underwent surgery for removal of the head of his right brain. High-risk action with a very thin life expectancy should be taken in order to stop the seizure and severe epilepsy who always attack every time.

Since the beginning doctors have said, if Cameron escaped from death, most likely in a coma and paralyzed on his left side. Because, right brain is the organ of the left side of the body controller.

But miraculously, those fears did not happen. After surgery and physical therapy, Cameron can run, and play, despite a slight limp and lose their peripheral vision. He was only in hospital receiving treatment for four weeks.

Does he feel the effects of surgery? Cameron replied, "No feel at all." Cameron admitted permanent pursue his dream. "I will become a ballerina when you grow up."
