WAEH annual meeting in 2010 took the topic "Challenges of Innovation in Eye Care" in which there are 3 focus on innovations in question, namely: health care innovation, knowledge and organization.
During one week in two countries, hospitals, eye hospitals WAEH members exchanged ideas about best practices in their respective hospitals with the aim of inspiring each other to improve service to patients.
Mr. Kees Sol as a commissioner of WAEH asserted, "WAEH Organization formed to help the world health organization, WHO, which aims to reduce the amount of blindness in the world amounted to 50 percent in 2020.
